Screw college acceptance, where have you been REJECTED?

Only got rejected by UC schools. Stupid being out of state...

I only applied to one university, so I guess I got 0 rejections. I went to my local one that's relatively cheap and easy to get into, and I graduated debt free. That to me is much more important than supposed "prestige." The experience is what you make of it, more so than where you go.

was the university of Texas? if it was just thank yourself you were . only two things come out of austin............anyways

i only applied to Texas A&M cause thats were i wanted to be. I was guaranteed acceptance because of the old top ten percent rule in Texas

funny back story: i had identical grades to my best friend, in fact, i did more extra curricular activities and did higher level math. He was chinese, born in china, but raised in northern england. I was born in washington state and a resident of california. I got rejected from EVERY California university, while he got accepted to EVERY california university that I got rejected from. Apparently they dont have affirmative action in california anymore, but the next best thing is that 3% "international student" acceptance thing. Also, i believe that california accepts automatically the top 10% of high school seniors automatically. Now, I went to a blue ribbon catholic school where 6 people(all in my AP classes) got 1600's on the SAT, and they papered all the schools with applications, even though they were set on going to ivy league schools, hence, me in the 11th % got rejected. california schools all have my wrath for that. And to top it all off, the valedictorian (whom I was dating) made a complete *** of herself on the stage for her graduation speech. "Look at my silver shoes, they match my silver beemer!" Gahh

I was "Middle Class Suburban White Kid Reejcted" From the University of Michigan...

That's pretty much when they defer you until its too late to say yes anywhere else...

Note: My buddy Matt, who is 1/4 Hispanic got a full ride to U of M with a GPA the same as mine, and 1 point higher on the ACT (I got a 27).

Reverse-Racism at its worst...

Anyway, I got a huge scholarship to a school that ultimately turned out to have an Architecture program WAY better than PCU's.
