mehh I applied to U of idaho, BSU, U of Wyoming, and Col. school of Mines and was accepted to all, but I went to U of I, becuase it is the best eduction/price. I say go to whatever school has the best cost/price for you, unless your parents are filthy stinking rich.

          I'll get the ball rolling.

Schools that actually realized I was a slacker for four years:
          Penn State
          Virginia Tech
James Madison University ("waitlisted," but I can only assume...)

This, on top of of about three other low points in my life, easily seals the past week as the worst of my life. I doubt anybody wants to read a complex multistage e/n, so we'll just worry about the college jazz for now. Please, wallow in your sorrows with me.

edit: Oh yeah, I'm waiting to hear back from Notre Dame, too. Applied there because my dad went there, and it's an awesome school, not because I had any realistic hopes of actually being accepted. Woo hoo, one more rejection to look forward to!!

UPDATE: Officially rejected from Notre Dame now, too. w00t
ha ha penn state begged me to apply after i expressed an interest in engineering but i went to the Air Force b/c i cant see going $50,000 in the hole for a peice of paper that i can get paid to earn in the AF. plus with the AF i'll put in 20 years, retire with a nice pension, and then work at wal-mart just to keep from being bored.

Waiting on a date to leave for BMT. :shooting:

Erm, no concern for things such as location, "diversity", climate, entertainment?

i only applied to Texas A&M cause thats were i wanted to be. I was guaranteed acceptance because of the old top ten percent rule in Texas
Hahaha yeah I only applied to TAMU too and got accepted back in like September not because of the top ten percent (71/244) but because of the academic admit rule. If you're in state and in the top half and receieve a 1300+ SAT or 30+ ACT you're automatically accepted. Took 3 tries but I ended up with a 1340 and a letter of acceptence into the school of engineering
