Whats the new patch do?

Various class changes and such, but the main thing is the PVP reward/honor system. Honor points awarded for pvp kills result in a rank you attain every week. Based on your rank you can buy special discounted equipment. Should be "interesting" to say the least.

Ya, there's some pretty wicked stuff available. You see the grand marshals sunderer? Anyone who was complaining about the AR will quickly find that their whining was misplaced.

I'm still not sold on the idea of not being able to use something if my rank falls below a certain point. We'll see how it goes though.

The only classes that don't have a really hard time going solo in the game are shammies and paladins *cough* *broken* *cough*. If you are a warrior there is no use in going to either the eastern plaugelands or winterspring alone, every monster has its own diease that lasts about 30min and usally they are pretty nasty. Fighting in winterspring once i had 4 different dieases at once.

I would say that hunters have it pretty easy for the PvM aspect. Considering the rader to scan for anything, the pet traps, wingclip, and the abilty to fiegn death, it's actually much nicer running around high level areas. I just explored the whole of the westernt and easter plaguelands, Un'Goro Crater and Winterspring with my (now) 46 hunter, any monsters that came after me can be pull away by the pet and I can trot free. As for fighting monsters your level to about 3-4+ there is rarely an issue.

OMG with the new Horor System there are massive PVP battles all across my server (Aggarmar)

Same here, there are town raids every 30 minutes. It only took me 20 minutes to download the patch, and my connection sucks

60 human priest on Khadgar and a mid teens UD mage on Crushridge.

i've been running molten core quite a bit lately. it's hilariously broken though =\

I just did my 1st PvP (well, more specifically 1st raid) last night since i got a video card with more memory since my old one would freeze when more than 8 ppl were near me

The new card handeled pretty well. I was able to Raid Tauren Mill with about 70 other alliance. I only had 183 PvP HK's and 1 DK (since i used Holy Wrath (382-462 dmg to undead in 20 yard radius)) in Tauren Mill since their gaurds kept poping up so we had to fight off those (only about 40 of them at a time ) But we had enough pallies to just use holy wrath that we slaughter about 50 Undead lvl 50 gaurds in under a minute...

I wonder what rank ill get...I dislike that you have to wait till the week is over for them to tally your kills/ give u rankings

Remember, it's the points that matter, not the number of kills. I think the zerg squards are in for a rude awakening when the rankings are calculated.
