Actually you are quite right. A canker sore is NOT herpes. By definition: A small painful ulcer of the mucous membrane of the mouth; an aphtha. Also called aphthous stomatitis. Actually if you look that second word up it specifically says NOT herpes. All I said was it was the first thing through my head. Didn't actually mean you had it. Sorry.
