Maurice Clarret to Denver won't be a big deal. Its the system. I could rush for 1000 yards behind that Oline. I'd be more concerened with the fact that they drafted 3 CBs on Day One. And they have Champ Bailey. Hmmmm . . . . . I think Shanahan is tired of losing to the Colts

I'm pissed as hell at the draft. The Redskins had the opportunity to take Mike Williams and instead we chose the third best CB in the draft And then we take a QB at 25. EVEN THOUGH WE ALREADY HAVE ONE!!!!! Ugh, first time I've started to lose faith in Gibbs.

Eh the Bears pick was a little wierd. I just don't think anybody wanted to move up and draft Mike Williams or any other player for that matter. At least, not at what the Bears may have been asking.

I thought for SURE the Lions were gonna take Merriman or Johnson. I dunno, I can't fault the Williams pick too much. In this "no touching the WR" environment, the Williamses could dominate. And Rodgers has yet to show he can stay healthy. Still, that defense is weak.

And the Brown's pick of Braylon is questionable. Rodgers and Johnson were both available. And both are spots of need for the Browns.

And yea, the Pack got a great draft simply by getting Rodgers without having to move up. He's gonna watch the master of the 2 min drill for a couple years and have a quality offense to run. Esp. his WR. They will go get the ball.

The Bolts got a steel at 12 with Merriman. That kid is gonna be like Suggs only he can legitamately play DE too. Reminds me of Abraham except he doesn't have the attitude (at least not yet).

I personally think Heath Miller is slightly overrated. He's sort of like Todd Heap only not as fast. And he doesn't block as well. Still, the Steelers couldn't do much better with that pick.

The real interesting pick was the Colts taking Marlin Jackson. He is too slow to play CB at an elite level. Especially with the new "no touching" rule. But, he can, and has, switch to safety. True the Colts have two decent safeties in Doss and Sanders. But Jackson gives them something that they lack. Size. Sanders if 5'8" and Doss is 5' 10". Jackson is 6 feet. Another thing he brings is coverage. Neither Sanders nor Doss is worth much in the passing game. Jackson should thrive under Dungy.

I was suprised by the Panthers taking Davis ahead of Johnson. even more so, they're talking about putting him at LB even though he played safety in college career. They'd have to cus they got pretty good safeties as it is.

And after all that, I'm still pissed that my Skins didn't draft Williams

As a packer fan I'm really happy to get Aaron Rodgers, espically with the 24th pick. I'm not too sure about their future though. I was happy to see Dan Orlovsky get picked, even though it was to the Lions in the 5th round. He is the first Professional to come out of this town (Shelton) and he graduated with my brother which is pretty cool.

"Everyone was pissed nobody can comprehend how much this guy is hated in Columbus."

That's true, but I'm very glad he's someone else's problem. Maybe now that he's getting 3rd round money, he wont be such a thorn in OSU's butt.
