Sarah and I need to drag our butts to go see it. Everyone who's seen it says it's been excellent, so I hope it lives up to the hype.

Arent they british actors? I hate british actors in american style films... Previews did have that "krumpet look" though so maby its not american style.

is it american style? (like, uh, oh, the league of extraordinary gentlemen type cinematography...)

Do you laugh your *** off the whole film? Cuz if not then it doesnt live up to its reputation (the books were insaaaaane)

I have not seen this version of the movie yet, but I have read all the books, listened to the radio show and own the origianal (movie). I would have to say, seeing the movie first would probably not ruin the books as I am sure it does not cover all the books anyway.

I will be seeing this movie ASAP. I have been waiting for it for some time. My only concern is that without the wires holding the spaceships up that it will lose something

I never read the book but watched it yesterday. The movie is amazing it was said to be Monty Python meets Star Wars. I thought the movie was very well done and quite comedic. I took my g/f to watch the movie and unfrotunatly she disliked it but than again she didnt understand the complex jokes so beware if your taking someone make sure they are smart as much as it hurts me to say that about my g/f. Also I noticed the very few people who thought the movie sucked were people that never read the book and who are young like under 15 but than again the complex jokes are to much for them. All in all great movie regardless if you read the book or not.

Saw it last night... It was alright. Had a couple funny moments, but I thought some of it was pretty rediculous. I just I was just going in with higher expectations.

Well I saw the movie a few hours ago, and it was alright. Didnt read the books or whatever, so I didnt have any expectations for it, but it was funny with some stupidity thrown in and the plot was a little lame. Bottom Line: Go see it.

Someone gave me a link to the entire book earlier. I would read it, but I have no interest in it.

Buy and read it you fool, Douglas adams is such a clever, funny thoughtful writer, I'm not sure anybody can read and not enjoy his writing.

Actually the book is about 3 ft. to my right. I completley forgot it was there.

I might read it one day. It's not like I have a life or anything important to be doing.

People should always make time for reading... even lame humor It develops literary skillz and mysteriously bad eyesight lol.

Plus, you get a lot more stuff from books as compared to t.v. and other information mediums.
