Lisa is being moved from Emory up to Greenville SC to Roger C Peace rehabilitation center. Its a very good Rehab hospital. Where she will start trying to learn to walk again. And become mobile. Hard to say now how long that will take. She is quite weak in the right side. So it might be a long rehab. She is going to be transported tomorrow morning.

Lisa has made it out of the ICU and been transfered to Greenville SC into the Roger C Peace rehabilitation center.

We finaly got the first bill for her. It was the Helicopter ride into Emory. $8700.... just for that.

I finaly got the funds so far out and we presenting Robin with a Check for $3000 today. So from Co Workers, Paintball and Scooter people we done good so far. We estimate that Robin is liable for about $6500 if that Medivac bill. So we made a dent in it.

So thank you for your help so far.

I have some small understanding what it is like. just a little over a month ago my 1 year old daughter had to spend 10 days in a hospital and 1 night in ICU. she stopped breathing for a little over a minute and went completly limp in my arms but was able to start breathing shortly there after. of course we went to the ER and on from there.
we are fortunate enough to have insurance that took care of most of everything, but it is amazing how fast it all adds up.

it is horrifying how fast and without any preminition a life changing event like that can happen.

We got the summary bill for Emory yesterday. It was $90,000. We do not think that includes Doctors bills but not certain. We think its only hospital charges. Nor does it include current stay at Greenville.
