honestly, i think its all about the person.
some 16 year old drivers are better than 80 year old drivers.
when i was 14 me and my friend used to take his parents car up to mcdonalds and stuff. it was like a 2 miles drive, but thats how we learned to drive. that and driving around the field and stuff. You learn what the vehicle can do and you have a place to screw around thats not on the road. We though of nothign to do donuts in the back field.

Well now those stupid people will do stupid things with only 1 passenger in the car rather then 3.

For instance, a kid with his license for 2 months got 4 others in his ****ty dodge plymouth neon (illegally of course), was going fudgin 50 in a 35, got pulled over, and 2 of them got caught with pot and he got his license suspended for 6 months. I bet once he gets it back, hes going to do the same ****.

exactly. so this rule is pretty much an inconvience for those o.k. teen drivers.

There's a little too much flotsam in the gene pool for my liking. Unfortunately, the rest of us have to use the roads as well.

The intellectually and logically challenged can participate in any Darwinian filter activity they want. As log as they don't take innocent bystanders out with themselves.

I've have a lot of experience driving as a stated earlier. I've gotten lots of rides from older kids and they just cruise around without paying attention. I do do some fun stuff and show off, but I do it where there are no people or other cars.

I've been driving legally since 14 cause thats when you can get an alaska permit. The law here in Cali is that you cant drive anybody for six months.

im definately a better driver than both my parents especially my mom who runs out of oil and gas a lot let alone simple traffic laws

actually you can drive other people within the first 6 months. check your drivers handbook. if you dont have one, you can get them free at the DMV.
i thought you couldn't too, but i checked, and you can for a few reasons and those reasons only. and even for those reasons, you have to have a signed note from one of your parents.

immediate need of a family member. the note must be signed by your parent or legal guardian.

and of course your parents.

and i'm pretty sure you can drive other kids if your parent is in the car. i hope you can. i've done it a few times going to paintballjungle.

i put two hundred miles on my car these last two weeks and now it needs a new clutch, please keep in mind this clutch is already 15 years and 125k miles old and i taught my friend how to drive stick with it. he forgot to release the ebrake.
