I have to agree, if I have a real gun and a paintball gun, and somone is driving at me with a car bomb, I really dont think im going to choose the paintball gun.
On the plus side, if the military desides to go with automags, if the driver does blow the car up by the person shooting the windshield, atleast they will still have a paintball gun to use!.
Think about this, if there is a car bomb, and you only stop the vehicle... there is still a bomb in the car with somone still alive to activate it...Comment

A couple months back I was reading PopSci and they were talking about a way to stop cars without dmaging the driver or the car and other people. They would take a helicopter and fly overhead the car. A guy inside with a laptop whould then target the hood of the car and fire a microwave beam at it. This owuld then fry the internal computers which owuld stop the car so they could arrest the driver.Comment

i believe the point of these is that you dont always know whether or not is a car bomber ... there are plenty of innocent people who probably get killed because marines think they might be a car bomber, when really there is another reason they didnt stop (uhh ... they dropped their hamburger and were trying to pick it up?).
