I'd be surprised if it was the FBI that did anything. They don't touch stuff below, say, $100K.

This is not true, just last year I was taken out of 500 dollars, I contacted the FBI online fraud department and within a month or two he was in jail, I had my money and my item that I sent him.

Also get in touch with your local Attorney General and ask for fraud forms.

You're probably right. I think the FBI may have coordinated some of it, due to the nature of the parts involved, but it was a local PD investigator who actually contacted me.

I got a call from the dad early this morning, he spoke with all of the kids friends parents, until he located the gun, and he had found all the parts, and went through it all with me.. and is shipping it today...
