I think your wife is a riot. She probably should have said something before you bought the car though.

Yeah, I definitely didn't buy it for the performance. It gets good gas mileage. I like the looks of it. This one is not overdone. I think it looks classy and I drive it that way. I'm not a pimply teen, I'm a middle age guy who just likes the looks of it.

As for utility, I think you will be hard pressed to find another vehicle that gets as good of gas mileage and can fit 5 adults as comfortably.

That's very true. I've seen them looking REALLY bad. Of course I'm not into "riced" cars so I'm probably biased.

You really can't beat the MPG for a car that size.

If I don't have anything nice to say, I try not to say anything......

I'm sorry something about those just brings up feelings of repulsion......must be an acquired appreciation thing. Eye of the beholder.......

I've come to nickname those 'toasters'

I saw one a while back with a sticker saying "You just got beat by a toaster"

I tried one once, and it was ok, but the driver's layout was kinda wierd.

Where do you keep the wind up key? Is there a nifty storage area inside?

Eh its A-b transprtation and as long as you happy with it its a good car.

That being said its just not my thing LOL. I like my Big Old F250 pickup truck that can tow hual and carry ANYTHING i can strap to it and still get 20mpg on the higway (god i love Diesel).

Its called the XA and it gets around 35 highway with a/c. My girlfriend has one. We bought it because of the mpg and it is REALLY roomy. My brother is 6'3" and can set in the backseat comfortably. We get less "you bought it because you want attention" than the XB.
About Sporty-ness, it has NO acceleration but it handles really good. Its not a sports car, its based off the Echo platform. I really like the fact I can get 30 plus miles per gallon and haul all of the stuff I need to around.
Power windows, locks, and steering, A/C, 6 disc am/fm sound system all came standard on our XA. We added Keyless entry and cruise control and didn't get the price over $14,500. Thats good in my book. I love our little "pregnant roller-skate".
