Im glad shes healing rapidly. Hope everything goes smoothly on her path to recovery. Definately do the clinical study. Ive got lots of experience with medical problems with available clinical studies, and its completely worth it. The extra attention is a big bonus, especially because it will at the very least pique the doctors interests a lot more. One of the most terrible things Ive noticed in the medical system is how after a while theyll tend to treat her more like just another person with cancer because the doctors are just so desensitized to this kind of stuff. They dont really do it intentionally, and its not really overt, but Ive definitely noticed it everywhere Ive been with the ex fiance (was a different disease though, not cancer). Also the less she has to go in for treatment will be huge too. Shes going to be on so much medicine and getting poked and prodded so much that it really gets you down. Furthermore, by the time those medicines actually make it to the clinical study process there is so little risk involved that it is pretty much a non factor.

Best of luck to you though. Im sure everything will wind up fine. Just stay motivated and try to keep her as happy as possible.
