I don't know why anybody trusts the UN anymore. They are more corrupt with scandal than the US and they rarely get any bad press. As the article points out it is stupid to give countries that restrict information to control the internet to in turn have less censorship. It is just incredibly stupid logic. I believe the UN should be dissolved. It just does not work well enough to justify the huge amount of money it uses.

I forget the company that control the internet but there heavly US influenced (heard it on the TWIT podcast) but it was run really good and they said if the UN was alwayed to control the net it would be disaterous, all they want to do is get back at us. its just petty

i think thats because they ARE IN the US, if not totally controlled inside the US (they showed you where it was on Tech Tv one day)
