AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
That's some crazy stuff. Someday I'm gonna get an actual rifle just for like target shooting or something. Right now all I've got is a few pellet guns, and a .22. Not much into the hunting, but I love to just shoot guns. Anyone know of some good starting rifles? Preferably bolt action.
Fellas -- my eye's are a little misty -- lol -- happy to see there's "Brothers In Arms" frequenting AO... Would be nice if there was an "AO Bullet Bangers" get together someday. But trying to get that off the ground would be a b**ch. I just picked up my second Bushmaster in 20" HBAR -- plan on flutting the barrel and cutting it down to 18". Would like to make it into a SPR clone. http://www.answers.com/topic/united-...-purpose-rifle
BTW, Good video--- I just loved the part when the cop yanked an AR out of the cruiser for some quick target practice -- Won't see that in New Jersey thats for sure -- lol.
Hey ARMY -- Love your taste in heavy metal -- How big of a flash does that Miculek style compensator throw out of that CQB setup? Must be a ear opener.
eh, thanks for reminding me that my mom is a party pooper. she hates guns. i have a Gamo hunter 440 pellet gun and my dad has a ruger 10/22. she thinks thats plenty. and made me pass up the opportunity to buy a mauser for 50 bucks.
my neighbors go to Big 5 because of the special deals, and dissasemble the guns on the spot and look for any wear and tear, and pick the best ones to buy. and to think i could have had it for 30-40 bucks cheaper than at the store.
sad thing is i love to shoot, and rarely get the chance.
I shoot a lot. I used to work at Barrett building the .50's. Now I work for the competition.
Take my FAL's and AR's to the range every week and shoot a few hundred rounds a week.

HLD...
To the firer, it is acceptable. To anyone within 15ft, it'll blow your hat off! Other than the AR lower, I carried that rifle in Iraq.
The Miculek was NOT designed for 11" barrels, but it does keep the muzzle down fantastically regardless.
