Number one, it's a MAGAZINE, not a CLIP.

Number two, hi-cap mags for 10/22s are still being manufactured and sold.

Yeah, forgot about that. Okay, scrap the butt stock..really didn't need it for the 9mm anyway and if I went with the 5.56mm, I would add the foregrip.

Also, adding a secondary foregrip on that would make it, I believe, an AOW (Any Other Weapon), which is also an NFA item. However, if it becomes an AOW, it still needs a tax stamp as per NFA regulations, but it's only a $5 one.

I would probably add a six position collapsing butt stock, reflex sight, and maybe a foregrip in the case of the 5.56mm.

Now you might say WHY?! Once I am done contracting and return to my old PI ways back in Texas, I and another fellow I know are obtaining our Personl Protection Offficer certs and will also offer those services. This little piece of hardware I can legally carried concealed. It is also business tax deductable for me.
im pretty sure you cant add a stock to it because it would make it a short barrelled rifle and then requrie a nfa tax stamp, and a bit of paper work. if you are a Pi does that count a law enforcement as far as weapon regulations and things like that go. please let me know im not trying to be a duche, im just curious.
i got a r22 rilfe a little while ago from rineland arms. it is fun to shoot, not to mention it looks like some frankenstien h&k gun. so far it has been a little pickey with ammo but it gets better as i shoot it. i think it just needs to be broken in.

You should come to Vermont then...
No permit is needed, and it can be concealed!

If you are going to buy a surplus rifle, make sure you buy one chambered for a common round. I made the mistake on buying a Enfield No.1 Mk.3. Beautiful rifle, but .303 British can be hard to find (unless you want to pay $1/round).

Thanks to misfit for posting about his .22 from rineland. They have a .45ACP conversion for the Enfield for $160. Yay!

While you picked a more fun gun to shoot you also picked a much more expensive gun to shoot. I hope you have the pockets to afford plinking. While it may not seem like a big drawback spending 8 bucks for 500 rounds sure cant be beat.
Why doesnt anything work for me.
