Yea I know, that's why my mom was unhappy I got this. I feal like there's a time and place for having fun, but most of the time it's a no. I do realize I have a heavy foot(like most 17 yo's do) but I think I'll be okay.

The only time I had a wreck was when I tried not to hit a cat.
I was in a Civic doing 5mph UNDER the speed limit going to work. I see a cat a little ways down the road walking toward me in the middle of the road. I start to get over(read: not swerving) and right when I get to the cat my pass tire drops off the road. I pull the car back up on the road and start to go off the other side. I turn the other way and go off the right side of the road and into a culvert where my car flips 1 and 1/4 times landing on the pass side and staying like that. I shut the car off, open the drivers side door and crawl out through the drivers side(the only window that didn't break). I stand on the drivers side of the car and shut the door and look to see where I'm going to jump off to make sure that there wasn't any poision Ivy or snakes. Walk up to the road. Thats when I started to shake.
The lesson for today kids is do not try to avoid hitting cats...

My friend told me a story once of how a black cat crossed the road in front of his dad (AL) while he was driving and AL took off after it and jumped a couple curbs in his car trying to chase it down and run it over because of the bad luck. LOL What a

A heavy food only leads to trouble, accidents and most commonly speeding tickets. You also get a lot worse mpgs but that shouldnt matter too much in that car. Speeding tickets will just rape your monthly insurance costs so be careful.

I just want this stuff gone, super low prices

Good luck...I've been through 5 cars in my first 3 years driving, and although none of it was my fault I would still advise a first time driver to get something much much cheaper due to my circumstances. However done is done and it is a much nicer car than I ever had so have fun and be careful!

For my first car, 200 horses is alot. It's definatly not slow for it's price, I'll tell you that.

I suppose you're right, as far as newer cars go. Just remember that fast is a relative term.

It was all just bad luck. First was a 3 car pileup. The guy in front of the lady that I hit decided to stop about 100 ft. from a green light on a 50 mph road on a wet day for no reason. That was my favorite car too, a '89 240 T. Next my transmission went out while I was on a bridge, boy was that embarrassing since it held up everyone for a few minutes. That was a '86 240 DL. Lets see after that was the Mercedes ('79 450 SE with a 6.9L engine with 405 ft/lbs of torque, this car was tons of fun but I could literally watch the gas gauge move towards empty, which needless to say wasn't kind to my wallet) in which the brakes went out on me and ended up in the ditch. The next was a mazda mx-6 which I got for dirt cheap and out of the kindness of my heart gave to my bro for his 16 birthday. Now I'm rolling in a '94 blazer S-10 which I hear have a unfortunate tendecy to flip in certain situations. Lets hope I don't have stories about that.

First gen eclipses were quick... awd and a turbo 4 cylinder was wicked....

now a 6cyl front wheel drive N/A not much fun, espically in an automatic.

Yeah the GSX's and the GST's are the only ones worth having.
The newer ones aren't very tuneable from what I hear. Don't go throwing that "2 Fast 2 Furious" crap up in my face either. All it had was chrome and a paint job.
