AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
it also comes with hard case, two clips, mag loader, holster w/attacthment spots. and double magazine holder.
I could have got a 9mm or a .40cal for $200 or a .45cal for $325 Didnt think the .45 was worth the extra $125 though. Although its still cheaper then retail
Ill give you 210 for it

The XD's are pretty nice. I wasn't awhere that they had a 45ACP offering. Pretty cool. Since here in Wisconsin we don't have a conseal carry permit still something smaller isn't really on my want list, but it is nice for that purpose.
I don't know who would consider the chamber indicator, or striker indicator useful or good features. To me it promotes laziness and bad habits.
On the other hand the grip safety is a nice feature. An additional safety measure over the glock without worrying about having to "thumb" a safety.
I don't know where everybody is getting them so cheap (have yet to see .45 yet). Round here the price difference over the glocks doesn't make them worth while.
$200 that is a steal. Which length slide did you get.

Yeah -- I understand your thoughts on the chamber/striker indicators, but considering that this gun is heavily marketed to Law Enforcement, I understand why they added these features.
Imagine a scenario where you're a Cop chasing down a badguy into a building. During the chase, you do a tactical reload while on the move. You enter the building and with eyes scanning the area, you perform your search. Its nice to have a feature that lets you know of your weapons status by a tactile feel of the indicator.
I'm sorry I don't like XD's if they truly come from glock's design then I'll pass for two reasons's glock after going through battlefield conditoins have the nac for half ejecting, and two I don't like the short barrel its way less accurate then if you get a full size.
Do it right the first time.
.44 Magnum Ruger
1911A2 Springfield
.45ACP H&K Tac USP

There not quite like Glock's design, but it is similar. I own a glock. The only ammo it has ever half ejected on is the Blazer stuff with aluminum shell casing. Buy Federal or Double Tap (like I should have!!! )
Short barrel? Since when is 4.5 in a "short" barrel? I'd be willing to bet that the barrel is accurate enough. I'm not trying to hit a quarter at 25 yards here . . . .
