Yeah media! Always reporting so accurately! Makes you think about how much accuracey they have in the rest of the easier spun stories.

Nice job screwing with the families there

And then the networks and newspapers wonder why no one watches the evening news or buys the paper anymore.

The way the media conducts business is shameful. I dont know how the comunications got screwed up, but someone needs to be held accountable for a blunder this big.

It's no so much the media's fault, but the fault of the Mining Co. giving out faulse info. The problem with news media is tha they have to be the first to break a story so they don't verify facts with those that really know. instead of waiting for the word from someone in charge, they went on the word of family members who were mis-informed. I was on the phone when they first broke the story about 12 being alive and after about an hour and there was no "offical" word I told the person on the phone. "Won't it be a bummer if at the press conferenece they said, oopps we're sorry we made a mistake". This was about 1am and I went to sleep about 1:30. When I woke up I heard the news and in some strange way feel that i jinxed them. I just thought it was odd that so much time had passed and the national news had not interviewed even one official.

also, the saftey violations have not been disclosed. many times its something like the case of a gum wrapper being found on the premises and it being charged with commbustable material or something of the sort.

its a tragedy yes, but its also part of the risk in the job.

That is exactly why the media is also at fault. They are the ones putting the story out, it is their responsibility to verify information...or look like rectal-clowns.

ya but the media wont ever change this, they have been doing misreporting forever. The lastest have been the miners and katrina. They do this to break the story first, and that there is no punishment for false information. The only thing that we can do to stop this is to stop watching and buying papers.

I just want this stuff gone, super low prices
