    Just to illuminate a point;

    The M14 was capable of full-auto. The stock was altered to accept the seletor switch, the receiver was altered to accept the selector switch, and the bolt was altered to run full-auto.

    The M1A is NOT available in any version as M14. The M1A is NOT capable of full-auto.

    There are no "versions". An M14 is just that. An M1A is just that.
