The real trick with German is that its easier to use the polite formal sentence structure, as it is A) Polite and applicable to any group of people/individual, and B) you only need to remember the root verb form. Some people may find you funny for always using it, but you'll be understood much better than if you mangle conjugations.

once you know a pile of verbs (a few hundred is a good start...) nouns are easy to pic up, until you get into compound words... knowing the gender of each noun is very important as well...

Prepositions are also very very helpful.

accusative: bis - until, durch - through, fur - for (don't forget the umlaut over the u), gegen - against, ohne - without, um - around.

dative: aus - out of, bei - near, mit - with, nach - after, seit - since, von - from, zu - to

accusative and dative prepositions change how the gender of the noun in question is affected in the sentence structure...

that's Fritz's German lesson of the day...

Mein name ist "Maggot6", ich will sprechen in Deutsche.

            It really should be:

"Ich heisse "Maggot6". Ich will in Deutsche sprechen."

Wollen is a model verb, which moves the "standard" (for lack of better terms) verb to the end and puts it in the infinitive form. For example, "Ich will Gulaschsuppe essen."

Yea, work on the dative case and the modal auxillery verbs. Obviously people who spoke fluently would understand you, but you would sound like a nub!

Also, when you are speaking German, do not worry about if you got the "der, die, das" correct. When speaking in Germany, people usually slur these articles and their relatives quite alot.
For example, if I were to say "Welchen Lehrerin..." in Germany, nobody would notice (it should be 'welche').

Past tense (perfect) has a 't' added onto the verbs for first person. If I wanted to say "I went to school.", it would be "Geht ich nach die Schule." The verb comes to the front in most cases. There are also exceptions that have vowel changes and what not. For future tense you can just say "I will...." I believe. Also, for past tense the word 'war' means was. Als ich war 13, geht ich nach Deutschland. <--- When I was 13, I went to Germany.

Ich habe nicht sprechen mit jedermann in **vocal** Deutsch bis Gestern. Ich ausfalle!..

Another thing I realized, I have no idea how to do the past or future tense...

                      Danke wieder
                      'Ich bin ein n00b.'

Future tense is actually quite easy. It requires the use of the model auxillery verb "werden". Simply place it after your subject and put the infintive (i.e. essen instead of esse) at the very end of sentence.

                      Ich esse Weiner Schnitzel.
                      Ich werde Weiner Schnitzel essen.

                      More to come!

                      Bitte!

and idk if anyone has said this yet:

it starts easy and gets harder, it depends on how you learn, your teacher, and if you already learned a different language. for me, it was easier. my mom speeks german all the time, and so did my grandmother.
