Make sure to check your blind spots when changing lanes on deserted roads and to apply the parking brake on a hill even if it's not really a hill.

where are you taking the test? framingham, i take it. it really depends what cop you get, some will make you do everything once or twice, and really in depth... others will make sure you can do two right turns and thats all. watch out though, one cop likes to make you back up in a straight line along a certain curb which is curved and has a telephone pole on it, and hanging into the street... watch your mirror.

my recomendation would be go down to the RMV sometime soon and practice driving around there, thats the best thing you can do really.

If your worried about passing a road test, maybe you shouldn't be on the road. It's a simple test. Just stay relaxed and you'll probably do fine. Just don't show up wasted or looking like a bum.

look like you know what you are doing. Dont look around anxiously, especially on a three point turn ( I was marked off for poor visibility )

be confident and know what you are doing. STOP completely at all stop signs. When turning onto a road with multiple lanes, make sure you stay in the lane. Know the rules of the road and follow them completely. make sure your vehicle is in proper working order ( in NY, at least, if the vehicle wont past inspection, you automatically fail, or some garbage).

take the test in a vehicle you have driven a lot and are comfortable in.
