Bolded is the Gretzky era w/ the Kings. Even prior to the Great ones arrival he was still a pretty good winger. Although as a winger you are pretty much limited to as good as your other line mates. If they can't get the puck to you, you are not going to score many goals. So I think what your saying Thordic is partially true. Yes he got many of his goals in the Gretzky days but he had some pretty decent seasons w/o Wayne also.

They need to start a Luc Robitaille Award. It would be awarded annually to the player who leached the most goals off his center.
