Maybe you're just not important enough to warrant knowing about it.Originally posted by kosmoYou proved my point. We dont get any of that fancy stuff that you just talked about.

radar + algorithms (for distance and angle) + launcher = similar to my schools robot for the FIRST competition (except it was a fixed target we shot)Last edited by Glickman; 04-14-2006, 10:09 AM.

Interesting theory. While I dont deny that I am not involved the part of the army that plays with experimental toys that no doubt has those things to see if they can be fielded, I am in the army that deploys and uses apaches to fight the wars that we are fighting. And we dont have that stuff. Probably never will.Kosmo For President '08, '12, '16... However long it takes

Nothing new. The Russians have been fielding the Arena and Drozd systems for a while, and they are working on the Zalson system.
I hope they get these things into service ASAP. The troops need 'em.Comment

First, could you just let us have our little fantasyOriginally posted by ArmyRadar aimed kinetic response system. It's NOT a force field.
We all want Star Trek to be real
Second, just cus your name is involved doesn't mean that its yours . . . but if it is, can I borrow one for my car? Keeps getting hit by bugs
