I think statistically OL are more often taken in the top 10 of drafts. OL can play for 6-10 years consistiently, RBs get tore up after 4 years usually. Martin, Bettis and Emitt Smith being exceptions. As a high pick, the OL have more value for team and lower price tag for the pro bowlers.

/News Flash: Maroney and DeAndelo both gone now.

And the Jets take a center. I like it. 5 more picks and they get another go at a running back, I think. Figured better take the center now because hed be gone, but there will still be a back around.

I highly doubt the Seahawks, Giants, Saints, or Texans will draft Lendale, hed be a pretty good fit for the Jets.

The talking haeds at ESPN say the Jets moved down to get value and still take a second tier QB, Clemens or Whitehurst?

Well they moved down past both Vikings slots, and word on the street is theyre looking for a second tier qb. If so, good luck with our rejects.

OK, just bizarre. Tennesee thinks it riding in the 'way back' machine. Steve McNair and Eddie George are now Vince Young and LenDale White???

I agree on the Jets, better future outlook even it it bores fans to sleep. Should help keep QBs and RBs a bit more healthy and off IR.

My guess is Vikes stay LB and take Greenways teamate at ILB and then maybe QB if they really want one specific 2nd tier guys, or Safety.

Well I think White also makes sense in Tennessee, because the guy theyve got now is definitely not an every down guy, and either is White. But anyway, the packers are picking now. Excuse me while I go perform voodoo to make them rot in hell.

I was hoping to get a nickel back with that one, though I wouldve preferred one of the big 10 guys like Youbuty to a texan. Eeew... texas.

Hehe, they had to swoop in to make sure and get 'their guy' so we didn't take him. I guess they were high on Clemens.

I think he'll develop for a year and play return man now that KoRo doesn't need the extra injury chances. Griffin in a year could be solid.

Well now, the jets significantly added to their offensive line, and got the qb they wanted. Doesnt seem like too bad of a draft so far to me.

Well the only reason I can see why MN drafted Cook is his immense size difference over returning from injury C Matt Birk. Project for 2 years down the road? Inside girth for power running inside blocker?

                              /edit
Eh, Omar may still be there late round 3, or they could package the two 3rd rounders to move up late 2 early 3.

Im sorry, but thats just sad. Cook had no business being drafted in the second round, let alone with the draft pick we got for that colon-cowboy Culpepper.
