                    I've done quite a few idle leak checks on 737s coming out of C-check. We approach the CFM 56 from the side and latch a harness onto the engine before getting under it to check for oil/hydraulic leaks. You can crawl forward a bit and feel the suction towards the intake.

                    Engines like the JT8 have inlet guide vanes to stop you from being ingested, but I still wouldn't want to experience ingestion.
