    I know, that wasn't meant to be a "reaction". Just rambling I guess. Our leadership here is always correcting us as though it matters, so if there was anything overzealous in that post it's not directed at anyone here.

      Well, its important in that the mistaken notion that the weapons are "non-lethal" can lead to incorrect or unjustified use. There were big headlines last year when a bystander at a riot in Boston was killed when an FN303 less-leathal round fired into a crowd struck her in the head. If the users keep in mind that the weapons can, and do, kill people, hopefully that would help to ensure proper usage.

      If you guys are working in facilities housing insurgent prisoners, however, I'd prefer it if you used "more-lethal" rounds

      And yes, simunitions hurt like heck. I've still got a scar on my belly from where one went under my vest.
