I have no idea were ya got that info but it is not correct.

I have seen my share of accidents and even layed a bike down myself (all be it it was VERY slow and i was not even wearing gear as i was just moveing the bike out of the garage). And trust me your lower extremities get just as beat up i got the ripped overalls to prove it. A buddy of mine got hit by a car while riding and slid with his bike and got jammed under it but other than some burns from the engine when nobody could get his bike off him (700lb touring yamaha) he was mostly fine as his leathers took the brute of the force and his chaps are proof of their worthyness.

Personally i hate the look of em but i wear em regardless as i cant afford what i want. shure might look pretty dumb but if i go down id look a whole lot dumber without em..

I cant get a new busa, I have to get used.. besides since most of my riding is done on a dirt track a busa might be a little too much for my, Ive been taking a close look at the Suzuki 750 and 600 models

A Dirt track? No racer bike would do "good" on a dirt track. if your looking to ride on dirt your going to want to look at dual purpose bikes or enduros. Bikes like KTM makes and the V-strom.

yah on a dirt road I think it would be....On dirt roads I think the highest performing Bike you could get is the new KTM supermoto. it's a huge enduro bike but man did it get some Nice reviews.

I dont have the intention of throwing a busa on a track, Im just saying though I have little experience, IM probably not ready for a 1300cc bike even though I really want one

It demands a specific type of rider, as it does not appeal to the primary population of riders. But V-twins deff have more power then the straight 4's, so you will see the difference on the turns. ( SV650's are cool for that too)
My family has 2 BMW bikes, and although part availability isnt great, its not bad. plus, they dont appear to need much maintenance or new parts, and one of the bikes is a 1972.

*raises hand* umm, anyone who cares about fuel consumption? i mean, considering a toyota prius gets 50 MPG and costs around $20,000, and a decent sportsbike gets 50 MPG and costs around $5,000...

motorcycles are fun, but fuel consumption is a reasonable concern.

it probably depends on the bike. from the look of it, you would have a much higher chance of getting your leg stuck under a bike and scraped up on a sportsbike than on a cruiser... you could lowside a cruiser without too much fear in getting your leg caught.

You could wait for the Suzuki B-king to come out. It's essentially a naked Hayabusa. Definetly looks better than the bus.

well I dont need or want to become another statistic or donor, I dont need a 1300cc bike, the 750 gsxr will be more than enough and they look cooler

yeah, good idea. i just test drove a 1994 GSXR 750 yesterday. its definitely more than enough power. i can hardly imagine what a 1300 sportsbike would be like.

I had read somewhere that it was rumored to come to the US in 2008.
