    Haha ankle braces...when I was at airborne, they gave one of the other companies these braces to wear, and more people got hurt from that company than any other, so they did away with them after one trial run. Just keep your feet and knees together...PLFs are overrated anyway.

      Well, he'll definitely need to be able to read.

      I didnt' know Agricultural enlistees made OCS faster than others. Good tip.

        thats funny though, when was this? my bet is that they didnt release the mortars baseplate before they hit the ground

        hahaha is that what you guys call the people at division? I heard Col. and above drivers starts at E4 and comes out E6 in a 2 year rotation

          Hello, LT at FT Lewis (4SBCT) here.
          First, do you have a college education? If not, go enlisted, use the gi bill and tuition assistance and get a degree, you won't be declined from OCS with a college education, provided that you're a good soldier. You've already signed the contract, so getting it changed isn't likely, go with what you got and make the best of it for awhile. You'll be fine really, it makes a good stepping stone into becoming an officer. As for OCS, I've seen E7s go and I've seen E2 privates, it's all about the caliber of the soldier.
