AO: We are back from the dead... again! After an 18 day outage, we are finally alive and well. Who knew how complicated updating software/databases from 2008 would be. I still have alot of tweaks to make, but my main goal was getting everything patched and updated to 2026.
Vbulletin 6 has changed alot since 2008 so we will have a ton of new features to dig into.
first off I wanted to resurect this thread. and I have a question.
Has anyone ever played such a fast song (say: operation ground and pound- dragonforce) that they hurt themselves? Cuz I just did.

Where'd you hit yourself?
you know you play this game too much when the neighbors stop fixing their broken windows...
:shooting: :cuss:
Now that someone has brought this thread back to life, I want to compliment on your set Spike Ball, I really do like the finish. And dw quality. There were a couple fades that I really liked from dw when I bought my current setup back in like 01'. They had some of the best finishes, imho. The only reason I didn't go with dw was the price. I got my pearl setup for a ton less, so what ya gonna do.. I'm gonna dig around for a pic, but the only ones I got are live shots that dont show the drums too well. I'll try and add one later.
BTW, Don, nice drums too. I always thought the pacific line was pretty decent for the price. anyway, I used to bang up my fingers every once in a while, playing metal usually. I would go to my floor tom and catch a finger (knuckle) during a hit or rimshot. I usually wouldnt notice it till there was blood dripping all over my snare head or something...
I hurt myself in two ways (sorry i didn't include the details).
1) I hit and attempted to mute the china, but I accidentally skinned my knuckle. Iwasn't too bad.
2) Then my left shoulder (recently broken) and my right wrist (also recently broken within same year as shoulder) both cramped up really badly simultainiously. I am still sore.
