I also found this at a mazda forum: its the engine bay of a newer 'stanghttp://img147.imageshack.us/my.php?i...ures018dw5.jpg

They were saying how "most people swap a v8 into a rx-7, i did it the other way around"

Then the following posts are all "YOURE SO INNOVATIVE!!!!!111"

lol gg 20bt...which forum did you find this on?

But yeah, if I wanted to screw with the auto parts place, I think the best thing to do would be to ask for the crank shaft from any rx...or better yet, cosmo. Just see if they come up with an eccentric shaft. Or head gasget would work well too.

Ask for piston pull back springs, the blue ones. They rev faster.

Good to know that somone of Tom's status seeks "relief" from a sport he helped create. A sport now ruled by a single patent.

I pulled a rotary to 305V8 swap in a 2nd gen RX. Got the parts from Granny's Speed Shop. Made a nice ride from light to light. Pain in the butt to do, and the increased weight ruined the handling.

        ...sorry for the hijack
