I think there have been 5 or 6 Captain Americas. Steve Rogers was the first supposedly died fighting the red skull in greenland but the brought him back.

was looking on Marvel's site and found a news article, they are already spinning a new Cap. i dont know if they are bringing back Steve Rogers, but I hope its not Punisher...
