I just got back from seeing it actually. I must say, it was impressive, though there wasnt alot of story to it. The fantastic fight scenes made up for that though.Comment

I flipped out at the manager of the local cinema.
Stood on line for 25 mins, only to find out it was sold out.
I promptly went off about how big of a moron he was for not marking the show "SOLD OUT", and for taking so damn long to chew through a line that should NOT have taken 25 mins. I then asked "You new here or something?" "No, I'm the manager." Some young guy, probably 20yrs old, who cant run a register to save his life, isn't smart enough to put the "SOLD OUT" Sign on the movie header (like they USUALLY do at this theater) I was pissed.
He was like "Uhh, sorry?" All nervous like, i continued my rampage by telling everyone in the line, and outside that 300 was sold out, turn around now and dont patronize this *expletive* movie theater.Comment

Saw it last night with a group of guys from my dorm. We collectively gave it a 9.5/10 man points. Although Im pretty sure I didnt understand what was going on in or around xerxes' throne tent. Ever. I mean he might have been a bad guy, but his executioner wasn't even terrible, just kinda silly, and a goat headed guy just kinda chillin out?
Pretty clearly not much of that movie was based on fact, and usually I hate it when movies try to overdramatize historical events. But, this one didn't suffer for it, and was probably better.Comment

It was a great movie, one of the best ones I've seen this Year.
"WE thought you would at least match our numbers in soldiers"
"What is your job- 'im a potter' and you- 'im a blacksmith'"
"Spartans What is your job?"
"AHHHHHHH"
"It seems I brought more soldiers than you"Comment
