what u spend is what you get
a dewalt cordless is about $200-300 (depending on the size)
and u can get a jobmate drill for $30 (there is a reason it soo cheap) i know its not planes spokeshaves but u get the point its all the same with woodworking toolsComment

I'm looking for the manual stuff rightnow, I already have a dremel router, but am looking for an actual one, any suggesations?

lee valley is good high quality stuff even cheap stuff is still half decent
i dont really know about costs on hand tools all mine are my grampas old ones and some are even his dads old ones
they are still in pristine condition as he bought the best and took care of it
oh and now a days the only brand i would buy is stanly (thats just me though)Comment
