Spokeshave, planes, violinist and thumb planes.

Where can I find these for cheap? Ebay doesn't have a good enough selection and I don't want the collectable vintage ones.

dont go cheap, with woodworking tools u get what you pay for

what u spend is what you get

a dewalt cordless is about $200-300 (depending on the size)
and u can get a jobmate drill for $30 (there is a reason it soo cheap) i know its not planes spokeshaves but u get the point its all the same with woodworking tools

So I should be looking at name brands, and be expecting to pay $30-50 dollars for a decent, well performing plane?

I'm looking for the manual stuff rightnow, I already have a dremel router, but am looking for an actual one, any suggesations?

            Thanks

look at www.leevalleytools.com their tools are usually rated as having
very good value (as in good quality and fair pricing)

Go to flea markets and pawn shops. You'll find tons of old good tools for cheap.
