        See you there!

I might see you over there. I'm heading out in a couple months. I have one of those nice Aviation jobs where I sit behind a desk all day long, though. I work in the S-3 shop. I can't tell you where I'm going due to OpSec, but I can tell you I'll be up north.

Cali mag... just stop. I have a million things I can say to you, but I wont. Notice that Army is out here on his own hook, as am I. I don't see you sticking your neck out for the freedoms you so casually enjoy. But I wasn't going to say anything, so I too will stop.

Anyway -- Good luck wherever you end up Army. Once you get in country let me know.

Dang you better make it back you owe me 50 bucks LOL J/K

Hey I just checked into my unit this last weekend I guess they are pulling some of us (Engineers) to fill some holes in other companies. So I may see you over there I may not. But if I'm there and you need something dug, flatten, built, or demolished seek me out PFC Schmitz 996th Engineers.

On a personal request (I know you get a lot of them) My bud Spec Luke Bowe. He's a medal chaser. He's artillery but he thinks he is kicking in doors and taking down bodies like infantry does. If anybody over there sees him do something stupid you have full right (from me and his ma) to punch him in the face.

Take it easy and be safe.

About 4 more days in Texas, and I'll be off to Kuwait, then Iraq

Ft Hood Texas just about sucks it all. You Killeen/Cove/Waco guys can attest, the weather here has been almost Biblical in it's weirdness. It's July...it's supposed to be hot and sticky. Instead, there has been record rainfall and flooding. The clouds and rain and thunderstorms aren't believed to be going away until August.

Well, you can keep it. I'm getting outta here

As soon as I can get to a 'net hub, I'll post again. See everyone later!!

Thanks for the heads up, Dave. And yeah, the weather has been wonky as hell here too.
