New Front Grip/Battery Pack Ideas for the E-Mag

AO Team What do You Think of this Emag Front Grip?

    AO Research Team,

In response you your many requests for a different battery pack on the front of the Emag we came up with this one as a compromise. It has 2/3rds length AAA batteries and gets about half the shots maybe somewhat less. It is much smaller but about an inch longer. Looking for your feedback!

    ULE Trigger Part III

ULE Trigger, Can You Shoot It Right? Trigger Happy AO'ers, A new issue has become apparent with the lightweight trigger. With lowered reactivity, it is much easier to short stroke the trigger and "chuff" a shot. Virtually everyone that picks the gun up for the first time does this. The problem is that a chuff pushes a ball into the barrel where it sits there and the next shot blows the hell out of it. Now your barrel is dripping with paint. I am particularly worried about this because most peo...

    Prototype ULE Gun Body

New Proto Gun Body Need Your Design Help! AO Design Team, Once again I turn to your collective knowledge to help us make a killer looking gun. For the new guys I have to make it clear that THIS IS A PROTOTYPE!! It is not meant to look great but give an idea of which direction to go. Any comments should include suggestions on improvements. The proto body shown here is made from plastic so it's easy for us to machine. The final version will be aluminum so you can have it in any color you...

    ULE Trigger Part IV

AO, After more testing and observation of first time users, we have decided that short stroking the trigger is only likely to happen when you fan or walk the trigger. When used for single shots it works great. We added more reactivity into proto "C" but the trigger ran away easily so we are going to make the version everyone has tested. The prints are done and the parts are ordered. Depending on the machine shops schedule we could get them in a few weeks. We are pushing to have them by IAO for...

    Prototype ULE Gun Body II

AO R&D Team, We are back on the aluminum replacement bodies for standard mags. We were attempting in a previous post several months back to come up with and economical carved looking body but the economy part does not seem doable right now. We are trying to take a small step and just replace the stainless body with aluminum so we can get cool colors. The issue with this replacement aluminum body is that it is very thin and does not allow much in the way of style treatments. With that in mind we ar...

    2nd Generation Trap Door Feed

Guys, Just before AO crashed I showed you a prototype side feed system for the Emag when using a Warp (bottom pic). It offered over the top sighting and quick access to the breach. You made several comments about wanting it to be waterproof and swing the other way etc. I have come up with the second gen. shown here, your comments are invited. As always comments are most appreciated when they come with realistic ideas on how to improve it. This prototype includes an anti-chop switch inside the mount...

    Y Grip 3rd Gen

    Y-Grip Third Gen

Here is the latest. We extended the bottom of the frame so you could get three fingers on it. Trigger is more vertical to give space for you fingers. The front of the trigger guard is now identical to the Intelliframe so it will fit most front grips.

YES this will have the switch mount for intellifeed!

    Snatch grip next.

Important Announcement on the ULE Trigger AO, As you know there has been much anticipation for the new ULE Trigger. In the past I have stated that I thought the mod would retrofit into all existing guns. I was wrong. Right now the mod will not retrofit into any valve that has a single oring in the bottom of the on/off assembly. These are usually found in stainless valve RTpros and may be in some other retro valved guns. It will also go into but not work well in standard valves. They...

    by Bunny
ULE Trigger and Y Frame Update and other Stuff All, While I am sitting in the airport coming back from EMR I will give you the latest on the new products. ULE Trigger is still in testing. We have reduced the reactivity but it has a tendency to short stroke when you pick it up and shoot it for the first time. We are debating on the marketing vs tournament rules on this. We are trying a few different things to see if we can cut down the short strokes without upping the reactivity. We are targe...

Super Light Mechanical Trigger Update AO, Everyone is talking about foolish ways to modify their triggers to get it lighter since I started researching a lightweight trigger. I have gotten tired of listening to everyone complain that we never get things out so I have shut up about projects that I know for sure you will like. Triggers are a safety issue so against my now sharpened marketing skills I felt it was important to give you an update to shut all this down. Yes we do have a work...
