OK so here are some pics from the UK indoor championships where Storm UK's pro team came second. I didn't get on the field to take the pics because the fields were small and paint intensive and my pain threshold was feeling low that day (aided by a big night the night before...)

I thought some of you that are more technically minded might like to see what the C&C Extreme's and the NC paths look like while I am programming them. Here is a screen shot

OK so I'm back from the World Cup now and so after unpacking my camera tried to take pictures of the trigger for you all It's actually very difficult. This thing is so shiney that I just get glare and reflection off of it with any flash, and in the current indoor/winter night light I can't get any great pictures without a flash... But I took some anyway so you can see it and when I get chance to put it in natural light I will take some more. I had it in my z-grip but that's a bit battered no...

Nice idea Mr Grumble but in reality you cannot start feeding the ball in that soon or closing the bolt so soon on a half fed ball. It's because of the actual shape of a sphere it's very limiting in terms of how far in it needs to be fed before you can start closing on it... I calculated it out years ago but to be honest can't remember my figures for how soon you could close the bolt without having a serious risk of chopping the ball... Ok So quite a few people have asked me about where they can mill and how much, so what I have done is created some images which give you a better idea of where the material is and is not. I've taken the outside surfaces and made them translucent (I wish I could do that to people's clothes... but I digress). It takes a little looking at to understand but I hope it helps. proconnect! It's the best thing I have added to my guns since level 10! thanks a huge bunch to Tunaman ( [email protected] ) who got them for me (he can get them for anyone). You can't get them over here in the UK easily (I've certainly never seen them often here) but they are worth every penny. I was playing with Ignition which has quite a few guys from AO, Brad DeWees and Rob 'Kilaueakid'. Had a blast even though we didn't do so well at this event. Great bunch of guys and as ever it was a pleasure to meet, hang out, and play with them.

It was after a big soap opera moment... when Big Pete came and slapped me aro...

It's really not that hard to do, just take your time and go at it carefully. It's an advantage if you have a mill at your disposal but can be done with hand tools. The hardest part is breaking through from the top of the frame so that you can connect to the circuit board in the grip. Screw the grip onto a piece of wood via the bottom line screws and then drill down into it from above. A drill press would help! The only pain is working out what to do with the...
