Just found this thread... did you guys end up playing the Oct. 19 tourney?? I was there, didn't know/think there'd be any other AOers.

I was on Divine Right, we were the ones that had the yellow Dye jerseys, that had like 2 or 3 wins. lol. Although it was our first time playing together, too, and a learning experience for sure!!

Bob-yeah we ended up playing on Oct 19th on the Novice class? I don't remember playing your team, did you guys do rookie, novice or young guns?

Don't feel bad on you record, we only one 2 games ourselves. We learned a lot of lessons so hopefully they'll carry over to the next tournament.

Are you playing on the November 16th tourney? I'll probably be playing but with a different set of guys. My cousin and brother want to try one, so we'll probably do the Rookie class.

Otto - Hey man, how's the house coming a long? Did you want to play at pevs on the 8th (afternoon session)? I'll probably head up there with some guys and Ho said he'll probably show up as well.

Whoops yeah forgot to mention that - rookie (god there were so many teams that SHOULDEN'T have been rookie class ). And... as of right now, looks like we'll be playing November 16, but nothing firm yet. If you guys do we should plan on meeting sometime/where/how!

Hey! The house is coming along. Our loan was approved so everything is good to go. We had a termite inspection and they found termites in the front yard but no damage to the house. Its being treated so they should all be dead soon. We close on it next thursday ( the 6th.) I don't think I'll be up at Pev's for a while. That weekend we'll be painting, the weekend after that Wendi and I are taking the Campfire kids star gazing near Shenendoah (we volunteer with campfire) for the weekend. I might be able to play the weekend after that. We'll see.
I think those marks on my back from tourney will scar, they still haven't healed all the way.
It's a little busy for me right now, but I'll keep in touch and let you know when I can find some time to play.

Yeah Ho and I figured that you'd be pretty busy with the house so we didn't think we'd be able to do the nov 16th together. I told my brother and cousin about the tourney and they want to try one so I'm doing the next one with them. We'll do the rookie class this time since as a whole we're pretty inexperienced in tourneys. it's getting pretty cold now, so I doubt I'll be doing the dec 16th tourney and probably slow down with paintball all together. Can't wait for the spring time now

well good luck on your house. my parents are closing on their house the 6th as well.

Are you kidding, it was like 85* today. That was INSANE. I was almost sweating outside today. Right smack in the middle of fall and first day of November.
July, would you be interested in trying out TMX in fredericksburg sometime soon? I can get my boyz from richmond to come up and meet us there to? Theres a rack of AOers in the richmond area.

Yeah this weekend was a fluke of mother nature!!! I wanted to play so bad this weekend but I had prior engagements. Sucks, having to be outside and not be paintballing

This coming saturday? Yeah Im down, I got a friend that wanted to come to. Im building yet another custom cocker for another person (Turtle cocker for him ) Would it be ok if we did it on sunday if he couldnt play on sat? Just askin just in case, I wanna play on sat.

Well Ho lied. He wasn't wearing camo, unless his underwear was, which I didn't bother checking.

Well we only played on saturday and suprisingly it wasn't that cold. We had a couple of good games too, we trampled the competition the the first 5 games of the day. I brought my dad out there with us. He didn't play, he just wanted to see what we were doing on the weekends. I think he may play with us next time we go to our outlaw field though. BTW, we're thinking of hitting the outlaw field on 11/22 if you're interested guys.

Awesome! Glad the weather cooperated.

Yup, I'm the proud owner of house. We started painting it last weekend and it looks like I'm going to have enough projects to last a while! Everytime I get something done on the house I come up with 3 more ideas to make it better!

Haha, Yeah I lied I didnt wear camo but I wanted some form of a pack so I wore my snazzy pants.
Camo next time though I promise, I just got my pack in.
