Dude, I am under no delusions of grandeur. I firmly belive that everyone and their brother will wipe the floor with me. Its just funny to post that stuff, and maybe it will draw a few more peeps

Plus, shooting tournament boys is great fun. Last weekend we were playing some sort of team, and everytime I bunkered them or flanked them, their team leader started shouting at them as they walked to the dead zone. Great fun!

ProX9, we have many really good hotels here...we're not THAT hick! In Paso Robles ( http://www.delsinfo.com/paso-robles/lodging.htm )(about 20 miles from field), is the Paso Robles Inn. Very nice with hot spring spas in many rooms (we're over a volcanic heated aquafer). It's nice enough that Hollywood stars stay there all the time. There is also a new Hampton Inn.

In SLO (about 20 miles from field), we have many nice hotels ( http://www.sanluisobispocounty.com/l...oms=0&keyword= ), and LOTS of cool bars and restaurants all over town. We are a college town (Cal Poly SLO & Cuesta College), so much is themed that way.

Atascadero (less than 5 miles from field), has the least rooms available ( http://www.atascaderochamber.org/lodging.asp ), but I would stay at the Rancho Tee Motel, which is right in town next to the theatres, food, and gas.

Hey Army I would love your help in this as you are in the area. I think that based off what the latest poll in the other thread, this will be a 17-18th weekend deal. Perhaps you can suggest the best hotel of the bunch and we can get a group AO rate from people who will committ to it with money down or something. Anyhow good to have another AO guy willing to help.

I originally set the poll to run 15 days from the start of this post but I can cut it short if needed. Although the corse group of us knows about this and is ready to jump into the next phase, some people only visit AO once a week. We can cut it short but I suspect if we give it a few days, we will see more of SoCal.

Again remember people, it really helps me if you send me that info I requested on the first post up top. Be like ZAust here and email me your name/IM/PM/other mode of contact you would like to give out how many of you coming? what you can bring... etc (go look on page 1).

Z-man, essentially, I would need a locked in number of people to solicit a hotel/motel for a group rate or function. I'm more than willing to help out, but my "extra" time is limited due to military needs. I'll still do all I can though.

In fact, I am writing this from Breakout Paintball Supply, and the owner has happily agreed to supply Diablo Midnight at around $45 a case ($28-1000, and $15 for 500). He is willing to bring out his compressor, but only if we can get 220v, maybe Will can talk to Brad about this. If not, we can bring out 4 of the 5000psi tanks and our 4 bay fill station. We have a 3, 5, and 10 man Sup'Air ready to go too. So all that is taken care of.

Let's get a date set, and people locked in
