I thought 3 fields might not be enough too but think about it:

assume each field can support 20 people per game MAX (10 vs 10)

3 fields = 60 people playing at once (+3-9 refs who may be us or not...)

now after you play a game or 2? CORRECT! you run out of paint/air/ambition and its time to reload and tell everyone how you were flipping out so much that you punched your mom RIGHT in the face (if anyone knows where that is from... I'll think of some prize).

So! it means that we could have a totally DIFFERENT 60 people playing those 3 fields while the first 60 reloads and watches!.

Scary thing now is if we don't have a compressor 100 people will drain any bank of tanks down fast. 4000 psi tanks after 1 fill from 100 people will be down to like 1800 psi on the next fill if there is no compressor.

true but that is address in 2 ways:

<b>Worst Case:</b> no compressor. Solution? We top off on Friday and refill as needed from the dive shop that is a few minutes drive away. cheap fills and close to the field. Not ideal but it works

<b>Best Case:</b> We get the compressor from Breakout (who is going to make the effort to get it to us). The real issue is getting it "un-hard wired from the building and mobil.... Assuming that we have a compressor (because I have the generator )

<b>FLIPPING OUT Case:</b> I have been told that if we get somewhat around 100-150 people (not sure right now) that the same company that services SC Village with that big rig will come out and fill 5K all day for cheap. Apparently Breakout and they are buddies so cross your fingers (but don't hold your breath).

Possible but you really have to make it worth his wild. Many a day I've gone to SC Village. They guy drive his rig over around 8:30am. Scans the parking lot decides in 5 min if he wants to stay. He leaves alot.

So we offer to pay him a bit more. This aint no normal day of paintball, after all. I'd be willing to pony up more than usual for air fills if it meant 4500 all day long, whenever I needed it. If this were an AKA meet, scuba tanks would be fine, but mags? Gimme a break!

The last mini AO day at SC I went to, the Air guy drove past us(Dident even wave ) Same day LP is talking about, other than that he is a pretty cool guy, has even filled scubas. The Air wont bother me though, I have a Classic set for C02, and if I have to use my Cocker I can get 1 1/2+ case on my 114/3000psi Flatline. But if air is good the RT will have fun.

As of right now the only thing holding me back from a 100% will show status is transpo

Waffleman- Oh, I'll be there. I just don't know if I can play or not. I need to get my cocker working, and that's not an easy thing. I think I'm going to be sending her to Killer Paintball (Potatoboy's hooking me up) to get spiffed up.

Confirmed: I'm bringing two of my friends, going to talk to a third (another cocker whore) and see if he wants to pop out to add to the numbers.

Not having much idea about anything going on...ever. I was wondering if the possibility of a fourth field had been discussed. If indeed we are getting 100-150 people there is no way we can fit them all onto just 3. Just a thought.

Just in case anyone else has broken cockers that need work I'll gladly take a look at em. I can work on mags, angels and a few other things too... I'm sure there will be other folks that can help out as well.<shrug>

I'm back from Vegas and I talked to Army for a bit. Pretty much as far as hotel wise we need to have someone collect the money to pretty much secure people being there and then Army could go to the hotel and try and swing a deal. 2nd thing- We need to find out how we want the fields set up. We can have a 10, 5, or 3 man airball set up. We can make multi use of the 10 man and break it into a couple 3 man's etc. I'm sure Army will come on and post what he feels needs to be added.

Me and Pron both got the two days off (we work together) and as of right now intend on going to represent NorCal. Mag_Seal-6 may be coming as well, but he is a maybe at the momment.

BUT, it is going to cost us about (rough estimate) $200 - $300 each to go down there. Since neither of us are 18, we can't get a hotel/motel room, and are forced to rent a camper trailer (obviouisly not in our names), which we will be spliting costs. Since I'm the only one with a truck (needed to tow the camper), I will be driving. But I get 11 miles a gallon , so thats gonna hurt our wallets as well. Then you add food and paint, and the ticket gets higher. And considering I only make about $300 a month, this trip will take a huge chunk out of my wallet, if not the whole thing.

The reason I said all that is I do believe its worth the cost, but only if a good amount of people show up. I would hate to spend that much money on a small get together, when I was expecting a pretty good sized meet.

We intend and plan on going as of right now, but I would classifiy us as a maybe since if it doesn't appear worth it, we won't make the trip.

Maybe you can create or post the number of people who WILL be attending. That way it will help us and others in our situation decide if its worth the costs.

And on a side note, SoCal memebers need to step up We need a good number of you guys so we will have justified bragging rights after we whip you

People are working on the software upgrades. They are waiting for the ok from AGD to be able to do it. I'm sure they will let us all know before hand.
