Actually, it does not matter that much to me. I think that an event like this needs a seriously stong catalyst, which we have in Zman. The first go-round will have a lot of folks participating, and a lot of folks sitting on the fence waiting to see what happens.

If it is all NorCal but we have a good time and show that it was a happening, that will promote the next one. Not that I expect that, but as an extreme example.

Props to Zman and his loyal AONORCAL crew for getting on board, and to all the SoCal folks that don't know us from Adam for going with it.

This is indeed coming together, Zman is busting his butt for it. Way cool!

The Rancho Tee will be the base, since so much is easily accessed by walking very short ways (killer Mexican place right there).

As for the motel res's, make sure you are committed before sending your $'s to Zman, as there cannot be any refunds. I will reserve as many rooms as needed, but no guarantees if rooms will be adjoining, but I'll do my best to get them. Be sure you note who you will have/want in your rooms, so I can put those names together as much as possible.

Apparantly some of you plan to get here on the Thursday. If you are going to stay at the Rancho Tee, MAKE SURE YOU TELL ZMAN WHO YOU ARE. I WILL NEED TO RESERVE THESE ROOMS FOR AN EXTRA DAY. YOU WILL NEED ALSO, TO SEND A FULL DAYS ROOM CHARGE TO COVER IT.

I was thinking that maybe we should have some sort of pick up tourney or something in the morning, I could see that being fun. Not for prizes or anything but for pride...

So right now I'm geared to go though I'm going to have to wait to get a hotel. The type of work I'm in I may have to drop out last minute.

Army- As far as reservations go most hotels allow you to drop a reservation 2-3 days in advance. Should still be the same for Rancho right.

I'll be bringing an E-Z up canopy. Couple tables...my usual set up.

Not sure if I'm going to drive up Friday or Thursday.

I was talking to Jon at Breakout again today confirming what Army posted back a page. Like Army said, the compressor will be available to us and I will provide the generator to run it.

Breakout will supply <b> 2 kinds of paint</b> (this is direct from Jon)

1- Midnight at $45 a case
2- Hellfire at $58 a case

That is it. I know there was some discrepancy earlier and some different brands were mentioned but after being promised his trigger finger is he was lying, I am told that this IS what Breakout will be offering. Again, you will have till January 3rd to think about what you want and tell me. No deposit required.

In addition to the Ranch Tree, there is another option that has been generously made available to us.

Jon of Breakout has a sister who works at the classy Hampton Inn which is about 15-20 min from the field.

I am told (and will confirm tomorrow) that we can get a special rate on rooms that are normally $150 a night. We can get them for $99 and as many people was we want in there. Each rooms has 2 Queen sized beds and what is more we get FREE BREAKFASTS! (not that hotel breakfasts are much but hey its free).

So that is another option for lodging.

Lastly we have some high profile people who will be coming out to see us
