Yes, Z-man and I talked by phone, and decided that it would be much safer and easier for you guys to book rooms individually. This would allow you to gather your buds together in one place, and split the cost. 3 guys + one room = around $25 each...not a bad deal at all. You can also request adjoining rooms.

The Hampton Inn is much nicer of course (all rooms are suites), but much more costly, even with a discount. However they will allow up to 5 per room, which could bring the price to $20-$25 each. BUT, there is only a Yak in the Box, and Hurls Jr close by, and no pizza delivery. Be aware, the Hampton is very new, and I don't think they will put up with typical AO paintballer shenanigans (you've all seen the pictures, you know what I mean)

I'll be fixing the compressor tomorrow, to make it mobile.

If you want any sort of mini-tourney, get your 3-5 man teams together. We'll run these on the airball fields.

Should Tom happen to make it there....nobody shoot him in the butt, OK?

And on one more note. this winter is looking to be very wet. Im wondering, worst case scenario not to jinx it or anything, but this is still going down rain or shine right? I know we wont have as many people who would want to come but im still all for it one way or another.

I can't wait...Sounds like everything is definitely coming together. We have a field, all day air, a good supply of paint for cheap, place to stay, places to eat, good people and even and Old Guy! Sounds like something you can't miss out on. Definitely a good way to start off a New Year!

We ARE confirmed of a constant 4k+ air source not based just on tanks right? Just want to know.

And are we making teams or are teams going to be assigned up there?

Yes we officially have a compressor (it is being ripped out of its wall mounts as I type). We will be filling to 4K for sure and I suspect to 4.5K. If everyone brings thier scuba tanks filled and has thier tanks filled when we arrive, we can top everything off on Friday and then coast through Saturday without issue. That is the only reason that 4K was said and not 4.5K. The compressor is not so big that it can out run 50+ peoples air needs if it does not have a buffer (which is why we want you all bringing tanks).

To address the team thing: Far be it from me to stand in the groups way if that is what you would like to do, and I suspct that we will end up having some team games and such.

However, I would like to point out that this event is first and foremost a firendly get together for us all to enjoy and play around (just if we had gone to SC Village or somethign like that). Do not feel that you MUST break up into teams and that its all that will happen. It's just another facet available during the meet.

ya Army got his division but we maxed all our games against him, and placed higher(2nd overall) than he did but we were in a higher division so oh well, at least we maxed against you, hahahaha, don't make me bunker you again. Sorry just had to bring it up Army! Army work your butt off to get tom out here! LOL, Tom doesent play paintball ( Prove me wrong TK ) I "played" with him last year at JungleIsland, it would be nice to do it again, Im shure we could provide all the diet soda and M&M's he could eat if he did show up. I will try my best to be there, I just need to work a few more things out, the money has been taken care of.

Alright, the deal with the t-shirts is we can put pretty much anything on them, but the bigger and more complicated the design is, the more expensive it is to get the design made. If only a few people want them, they'd be really expensive to make.
