I know... I am so insecure and I have to degrade others. That is all tied into me having to rapidfire my RT... it saves me from being run through.
NorCal vs. SoCal AO Day is ON!

*EDIT* Do not emphasise your name by cussing. We don't do that here. Keep it clean, or a temp ban will happen. Keep it up, and I'll make the ban permanent. Army how fast can you shoot that rt of yours? my angel is capped at 18 but with the blade trigger it feels so awkward because the guy who had it before me made the trigger pull so freakin light. i had it made a little longer but when it gets paint in it, it feels alot better.Last edited by Army; 12-09-2003, 11:37 PM.Im Out Like A Fat Kid In Dodgeball...Comment

This much is CONFIRMED:
Breakout will supply the compressor, store style fill station, and the fill tanks. We do NOT have a tourney type fast fill. We will fill to 4000 (maybe 3000) to keep the lines short. NO CHARGE FOR AIR. If the fills are going good and easy, we will increase to 4500. Co2 will also be available in semi-limited supply (we will go get tanks as needed)
Breakout will supply paint at $45 case for Midnight. Blaze, Inferno, and Evil will be only slightly more. Point Blank can be had for much less, but it isn't the best consistancy in roundness or performance.
Do not worry about not enough fields. ZT has two hard-wall fields, and Breakout will bring the 3, 5, & 10 man Air-fields. This can total out to at least six 5 man fields, or seven 3 man. Netting will be provided for as far as we can string it. We will try to protect your cars first, spectator/ready areas second (already have net for most of that), then split the fields third.
The Rancho Tee does NOT have group rates, but do have adjoining rooms. I suggest; get enough of you together and reserve those. This will allow many more people per room per party! (I didn't say that though!). Rancho Tee isn't the most glamorous, but it is right in the middle of food, fun, and ATM machines, and is the closest to the field. Other Motels are in the area too. Jon from Breakout will try some business influence to get a group rate at the new Hampton Inn in Paso Robles (20 minutes from the field), stay tuned for info about that. Atascadero isn't known for it's night life, so a rowdy bunch will get attention really fast. Let's keep it to at least a dull roar. If you come down on Thursday, San Luis Obispo has a nationally renowned Farmers Market from 5:30-9:00pm. Despite its name, we have at least 3 bands playing, many many BBQ pits burning, all sorts of political groups, street art, civic group displays, and all the downtown stores remain open for business...even Coldstone. Yes, fresh fruits and veggies are sold by dozens of vendors. We have bars up the wazoo (we call it the Miracle Mile), if you have one drink at the bar at the top of the street, then go to the next for only one, by 1 mile you will need your stomach pumped! We don't have any "clubs" per say, only the Graduate, which is at the far south side of town about 5 miles from downtown. SLO is also the restaraunt capitol of Calli. We have dozens just in town alone.
Camping is allowed at the field. TAKE HEED! MINIMAL SPACE IS AVAILABLE. CAMPING IS PRIMITIVE, NO HOOKUPS AT ALL. NO DRINKING AT THE FIELD...AT ALL. I will ask about a small bonfire, as it gets FREAKIN' COLD there at night in the winter. Prepare for COLD mornings and evenings/nights. If the sun is out, it should be quite pleasant to play.
Reffing will have to be done mostly by ourselves. A few locals will help out, but it's a good bet that the Refs will be short-handed. Straight up honest play will be the word of the day. The field owner, Brad, is old school paintball. He still has his Sheridan pump rifles! I wouldn't doubt he will call his local team in to play against us, and they ain'ts bad neither!
Keep the questions coming, so we can know what you need or want.Last edited by Army; 12-09-2003, 11:41 PM.

Thanx for the update Army. I for one would appreciate the 4500 fill as I only run a 45/4500 tank. If we can only get 3 or 4k I guess I'll have to suffer but I'll be in line most of the day if that is the case. As far as being honest I do know SoCal players are some of the most honest players I've played with. When they are hit they don't argue or keep playing.. they walk out. I'm hoping all the players will play the same way. I don't mind assisting on the reffing from now and then. Anyhow.. mark me down for camping. I'll use a tent and a nice and warm down sleeping bag.Sorry, I'm oldComment
