i want the award for person to cause most confusion. I plan to go the AO day, but I cant afford a hotel room if I end up by myself and I keep trying to get confirmations from my friend to see if they are going but they are so damn sketchy on the whole thing so I dont know if they are coming. Also If I could get a ride from someone that can spare it, that would be greatly appreciated.

according to the news it was a 6 something. I thought I was going crazy when my curtains started wiggling and then my glass rattled a bit.

I walked out side and lay down to feel the quake. Up in Carmel here it was very gentle and lasted about 30 sec. I tried to reach Wil in SLO and Breackout paintball but the phones are out there. Sounds like so far the death count is 3 with some buildings down. I hope you guys are safe down there...

I hope all are well in Central Cali too. For me in LA, it reminded me of someone having sex next door...LOL! The walls were squeeking like an old matress and it made me wonder if I was just hearing things or not. I even had to ask a few people if we just had an earthquake, some felt it, others didn't.

In any case, I hope no one else got hurt in this quake. A 6.5 for 30 seconds can do some damage too. But from what I understand thus far, only 3 are reported dead...but that's 3 too many. Especially for this upcoming holiday season.

That was awesome. I was standing up at work and I felt like i was gonna fall over.

Stuff all over the shop was falling over, people where holding onto the harps to make sure they didnt fall over and trying to keep themselves balanced, it was like some type of Three Stooges thing. (i work at a harp shop BTW)

Bad news about all the people who died. Sounds like the jewelry store they where in just collapsed and they still have people in there! Not good for the holidays at all.

Remeber: unreinforced masonry is a death-trap in california.

I am lucky to say i went home for the holidays. I wish everyone the best up there and I am sorry to hear of the deaths. Army I do appreciate your letter, it was nice to know those that are close to us are ok.
