A Possible AO Missouri Day 2?

Dre, I'd be more than happy to make a run to KC for an AO meet, but let me throw out another idea. Instead of Battle Creek where the second one was that ended in a flop due to low turn out and weather, we can hold it at my new fields sometime in Sep or Oct. by then we will have things up and running. We will have Sup Air as well as some concept fields. We took the idea to the bank a week ago and are expecting a reply today or tomorrow. We will have the fields up by that time with or without the bank's help, it just depends on how much cash we have to work with (loan money or begging and borrowing).

Is there an AO-MO Fall/Winter `05 in the works?

An AO-MO would be great, id try getting one going, but Southeast missouri isnt exactly the idea location one.

STL area would be nice.

Xtreme over in IL is a really good feild (25min from STL), and I'd think great for an AO day. Or we could just go to gateway. Either place would be nice.

I have BEEN trying to get an AO meet at Xtreme going many times. Here's what I had worked out before. $15 entry and all day air, BYOP! field paint @ $60. Xtreme has many fields of many different flavors, speedball, woods, older bunker style (wood log bunkers in a combo open/wooded field) Castle, a zipper field, Deep woods. We can have our own group, and play as much as we like. The field is 15 minutes from South County St.Louis, so there are many places to meet afterward and eat/party.

Or do we want to shoot for early November?

I vote oct 30 I will be married for a year on the 23rd. If not the 30th Nov works for me.

the more advance notice the better..

by the time we get finalized plans the date will probly seem really close..so 2-3 months off planning ahead isnt vad, but byt that time its gonna be pretty nippy

as much as ide like to see it not in stl for the other MO aoers it seems that the STL players are the ones that are actualyl willing to show, so i say go where the people are...

no point in doing it in east bootsecks if no ones gonna show..

How about November 12th or 13th then? Thats a month and a half away. And it will hopefully be a decent temp around then. We cant go for Nov 30th, thats a wedensday. And I dont think many people would want to come on Thanksgiving weekend, or would they?

Well I cant come october 23 or 30th becuse my girl friends birthday falls right between then and id never hear the end of it. November 12 sounds pretty good, far enough away to make reservations and plan it all out if you ask me. Does Xtreme have a website?

x-treme is an excellent field and well ran, although i hacvent been there for some time.

gateway would be a second choice, but the thing about that place is...looooong wait for air fills..im talking 10~ min waits...

i somehwta know the owner..SAL, and his son, so if we were to do it out there i might be able to get us a hookup or something..depending on how many people are gonna go

I read that on the xtreme website, to bad im scheduled to work that weekend or else id of gone. I will talk to my girlfriend tonight and find out if we can affoard to make the trip in november if this all goes down.

I'd love to come out for an AO:MO2. I haven't been on AO for awhile, and it's really been longer since I've even been able to play some paintball. Gotta hate having bills to pay and work to do. :) I guess if anyone ever gets one going, let me know and I'll try to bring some people out for it.

well I am good to go on any date after october as long as its around st louis. my internet went down (im on my phone), but I belive smack zone is having a christmas game. I'm not sure on the exact date, but smackzone always puts on some great events.

edit: just checked out their site, the christmas game is december 3rd, just thought It might be another option. I think we should make their operation: eminent storm our official MO:AO day.
