I'll check the music scene and see who is playing where that weekend. I was thinking hitting up some lower east side bars might be a good idea though. Cheapshots is a good start, and Coyote Ugly is right across the street. I'd say 2x4, but its only good on Friday nights, Saturdays tend to be slow. But its all the bud you can drink from 9-midnight for $10. Plus McSorley's is right up the street, and Pommes Frites, the best french fry place ever, is right across the street.

Lower East Side is always a stumbling good time.

Possibly the best burgers in NYC. Place is tiny though, it'd be tough to cram a crowd in there. Near the bars, though.

For your 4AM grease craving. Best fries in NYC, hands down.

Coyote Ugly. The movie is actually based on a bar called Hogs and Heifers, but this place is close enough.

The name don't lie. You can get wasted in this place on a budget.

McSorley's Ale House
One of the oldest bars in NYC (if not the oldest). One of the coolest places to drink in NYC, I go here often. Beer only, though, and you have two choices - Light or Dark. Try to order anything else and the bartenders will mock you all night and insult your manhood.


I'll throw some more ideas up here later. Aside from Arthurs, the other places are all within a short walk of each other, I'm trying to stick to one neighborhood.

I've been to the one in Boston for 2 bachellor parties.

$35 dollar cover for 3 hours of drinking??? Sounds steep at first,.. but think,.... how much can you drink in 3 hours???

You could grab beers out of peoples hands walking by in the place,.. it didnt matter,.. everyone was paying the same rate and all the beer was under the cover charge,,..... it was AMAZING!!!

All that,.. and the 4 chicks from the "girly night out" crowd were taking off tops for my Marine Corps cover turned sporty visor!!!!!

The things woman will do with a little alcohol and some military guys personal effects.

Im going 2 any bar if its like that!!!

35 divided by 5 bucks a beer = 7 beers. Can you drink 7 beers in 3 hours?? I know I can!

So the 35 bucks was a really sweet deal! That and it was during peak hours. We had a bus drop us off and wait for us,... watched some hot chicks dance on the dancing bar,.... take some tops off, show some boobs,... watched my brother in law get whipped by 1 of the bar keeps with a bull whip resulting in a black and blue lasting a week,... made out with a chick, scooped her number up,... for 35 bucks??? Yeah,.. it was crazy! I'd pay 35 bucks for all that.

I wouldnt pay a cover like that unless it was to my advantage,.... I was drunk to begin with,.. but 35 bucks??? C'mon man,... it was a deal! Whens the LAST time you got a deal for your drinks in a bar???

So that 2x4 place is $10 bucks cover for 3 hours of unlimited beer???
