Ok. I didn't know the screw was suppose to catch the O-ring.

I thought it was supposed to thread into the carrier itself. (little confusion there)

Thats why I was worried about ruining the carrier by threading the screw into it.

So I am assuming that I won't be able to re-use the O-ring after doing this.

If this becomes too much of a pain, could I just send it in to AGD and have them set up the level 10 for the cost of a star?

            Thanks!

what's giving you problems? depending on where you are you could send it to someone close to you who's turn around time wouldnt be as long as AGD.

Well, I have a couple of other threads here.

The first problem was that it was leaking out the barrel.
The second problem was that it was leaking out the back when I tried to turn up the velocity to ~ 290-300

Had to hold the trigger to keep gas from leaking out the barrel when playing. Really frustrating.

Then when I tried to remove the carrier to replace it with a smaller one, I couldn't get it out. I had to push pretty firmly with a pen to get it seated in there.

I have a back-up mag that I could use (not level 10) till I got the other one back.

I then put the minimag back together, and I'll be damned if it didn't stop leaking. Thats right, it doesn't leak at the moment, but it still chops balls, and I'm not too confident that it won't start leaking again.

I'm just pretty frustrated with the whole thing.

What is the turn around time, and would they set it up for me for the cost of a star? (I have 4 stars on the mini).

Dental pic may have been a bad comparison. It's more like a punch with a bent tip. Works everytime for me. I didn't know about the field strip screw, might try that next time.

Why have them do it when you can do it yourself? It's really not that hard.

the end of a metal nubbin worked good for me, but since yours is in so tight you might cut your oring

                              Carrier

When mine gets stuck i just use an allan wrench and lower to where its below the carrier(near backing washer) and pull it out with that. works all the time for me and without ruining anything. Later.

ask your dentist for a dental pick, it works great on carriers and o-rings.
