Just wanted to say thanks for the help!

The field strip screw worked like a charm!

I removed the carrier, and replaced it with the next smaller one and "Wallah"!! No more leaking!

    One last question though;
When I was at the field and tried to turn up the velocity to 290-300, it would leak out the back of the valve.

I heard that the level 10 has this problem as the regulator piston is not set up for the higher pressures that are needed.

Do I need a new piston?

Does ADG replace this for free when you have bought a level 10 mod?

    Thanks!

      Try using a shorter spring.

And no, AGD does not replace the piston for free. The level 10 is an upgrade that you choose to put in. Therefore, it's on YOU to make it work.

I can already chop balls with the spring that is in there while shooting under 280.

Doesn't this mean that I need a longer spring to shoot at 290-300 and then I would need to turn up the velocity even more??

If that is the case, it would leak even worse out the back.

ya, i have 3 springs and i use the middle length one.. the longer one works good like pinches awsome but it wasn't working to well like the first shot wouldn't shoot for some reason. like every other time i started to shoot

also the leaking in the back is because your reg is turned to high or maybe too low (dunno if it leaks when its too low)

            dental pic

Use a pic with a 90 degree end or an allen wrench, u will have to cut some of the wrench off so it will fit down into the power tube and through the carrier.
hook the carrier and pull it out.

thanks for the help, I was going to start a thread like this cuz thoose are a ***** to get out. Ok I have my LX up and when I first set it up it worked fine no leaks. now like 2 months later I have developed a leak out the back. My velocity is WAY down and when I turn it up it leaks down the barrel. Should I put a smaller or larger carrier in, and what do shims do, should I just take them out( i have 2 in) thanks. I think I have a 1.5 carrier in.

The Field strip screw trick is the proper way. Twist it in good and wiggle the thing out with it. All of us use that method with no problems. It's not rocket science at all.

AGD, where we are so good we can do it with only ONE tube!
