ok, once doing a string of firing with "double shot" it will leak once in awhile. in semi mode, i have tried holding the trigger back, no leaks.

cool i love the auto responce
are you using a good ex chamber? you may be freezing up a little. when the ar first came out i knew i had to have it. but i kept it on my back-up. i have always used the taso ex-chamber never had any problems, also if you are having problems with shoot-down have a good airsmith do the 8 hole mod. if your not worried about warranty. i just paid for an ar should be here this week. you'll have alot of fun with it.
btw, why should fields bar an autoresponse trigger, when even spyders come full auto?Comment

im running hpa, going thru a ss line into the AIR.
8 hole mod? is that were the back of the AIR has 8 holes drilled in it? i think i have that already done.
i haven't experienced shoot down yet.
local field here is cool to let me use it there.
the problem i am having i belive is similar to the other 99% of the people that have the AR. on "double" fire, when (lets say) shooting 10 times, there will be a leak down the barrel. something like the valve didn't reset itself or something.
but on semi when fireing fast, it does not leak. also when holding the trigger down, it does not show any signs of leakage.Comment

ok back again.
so far i've bought a power tube spacer kit and installed the .215 spacer. no leak is present anymore after rapid fire. i've gone out to the field with it, and the autoresponce works, but yes, as brought up before i am short stroking it.
what was with the shims between the rail and valve? is it possible to put in a spacer, or stopper for the trigger so the "back and fourth" movement (of the sear) is the same?Comment

Have you every taken the sear assambly apart on your AR frame? I had the problem with the second pull not allowing the sear to travel as far down(if looking in back of gun with valve removed), in the past I would shim the between the rail and body tube with tape to allow the sear to move far enough and let the on/off pin return to recharge the valve. However I was trying to find awaw around this problem and found if I reversed the middle linkage in my AR frame it fixed the problem. There is only a slight diffrance in the length of the linkage between its two sides and I must have reversed it or maby it was assambled wrong when I got it. Here is a pic of how it is now, if your linkage is the oter way around you may want to try turning it around and see what happansGreat Traders: RogueFactor,DoobieComment
