Gun leaks through the barrel!! PLEASE HELP

Hi, i have a 4* mini-mag and when I air up the gun and pull the trigger it leaks through the barrel alot like a stream of nitrogen. I sent it to a paintball shop in VA and they fixed it, till i fired it about 100 shots with paint. They said that he had to take off the frame and clean up the paint around the gun (has a custom paint job). I have all the power tube spacers and tried all of them. Like I said it worked great untill the 100 or so balls, and I turned up the velocity and it did the same thing. WHAT IS IT, sounds like a o-ring? But I am a newbie and dont know anything about this gun, it was bought used. Thanks please help if you can! Cause im

does it have a lvl 10? if it does then tuning it will fix it no problem...... your shop in VA obviously has no idea about mags, if they charged more than $20 dont ever go there again, becuase with 5 minutites and paprer towel you could have done the same thing.... on mags o-rings harly ever cause leaks. but most likley its a lvl 10 and it needs a bit of tuning, which to a semi-educated person may take about 20 min max

No it is not a level 10, At least i dont think it is. It has 4 STARS on the valve thing. Like i said i have no clue.

you can check if its a level 10 by taking out the valve and slipping off the bolt, it shoulod slide right off (pitcture of bolt below).



If it is a level 10 it will have a hole in the small metal cylinder on the right, and needs a bit of tuning, like more or less shims.

If its not a level 10 it could possibly be the Ultra Light Trigger kit, ULT on/off, if you have one. more or less shims there should fix it as well.

If its not either of those, then it is probably somehting wiht the valve internals, mabey just need oil, mabey need a new part. it depends.

just make sure everything is oiled as well - and if you need more pictures of anything i can get them

It has a bolt that slides off. What small metal cylinder are you talking about, the bolt? Also the picture you show has a rod coming OUT of it, MINE is IN the bolt and wont move. Is this sopposed to be like this? Thanks for helping me, but i think i still need help if you can.

also is the ULT the thing that has a metal pin sticking out behind the trigger. Sorry this is my first gun, and it dosent work so i have no clue about ne of this. Thanks

Nope dont have that, but if i had one would that fix my problems? If not im thinking about putting everything i have up for sale. HUGE crossfire Nitro tank, j&j Barrel, Revvy, 12oz, 9 oz tanks, remote, paintball holders and thing to put your tank on your waist, case, jt mask, paint, squegee, dont know what else thats the main things i can think of. How much do you think i can get out of all of this?

haha, i dont know how much you could et for all that, more than 100$... but i'd consider fixing your mag, its probably really easy to fix, just gotta do a bit of troubleshooting or maintenance.

I know you said that you changed the spacers, but did you change the power tube o-ring? Try replacing it and we'll go from there.

No, and witch one is that. Also i dont have a paintball store near me, so where do i get one of these? Also i did oil everything real well, and the o rings look fine, its just that i dont know how they are sopposed to look like. You know what i mean.

true. i've no intension of taking your marker, im just bored and like mags (miss mine right now), but i definately understand your concern
